Lhasa Apso Breed Seminar and KC Rules and Regulations Part 1, January '02

The event took place at Ranby Village Hall near Retford, and was well supported with approximately fifty people attending the morning and afternoon sessions.

In the morning, Christine Chapman presented the KC Rules and Regulations Part1, and reported a  very high standard in the examination.

At lunchtime we dallied over an excellent buffet.

The afternoon saw an interesting and informative breed seminar with question and answer sessions, followed by a puppy parade.  Everybody commented on the friendly and informal atmosphere and the professionalism of the presenters.

Profits will be shared between the MLAA and the Worksop and District Canine Society.

Terry Poole gave a slide show presentation and practical demonstration on the interpretation of the breed standard,  and received very favourable comments on the quality of the slides and handouts.
John Scarll (seen here demonstrating depth of chest) gave an interactive and practical presentation on Apso judging and the origins of the breed.

David Chalmers and Jacquie Bax gave an excellent presentation on dog grooming and coat maintenance, the correct use of  grooming equipment, and answered many questions with great enthusiasm.

And also to Daisy Rosie Amber who modeled with great patience for the presenters.
